Privacy Policy

BID365 Pty Ltd (ABN 26 686 425 516) (we, us) operates the Green Light Challenge at playgreenlight.com.au. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

• Account information: name, email address, date of birth, state/territory, password (stored hashed).
• Parent/guardian email for participants under 18.
• Gameplay data: answers, response times, scores, lifeline use, session and device signals used for competition integrity (e.g. fullscreen/focus events).
• Payment data: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive transaction records but do not store your full card details.
• Verification data: where you qualify for prizes, identity, age, residency, and licence documents you provide.
• Communications: emails you send us and our responses.

We collect and use personal information to: operate the Competition and your account; verify eligibility; calculate scores and publish leaderboards (displaying your chosen display name and state); run integrity review; administer prizes, including contacting parents/guardians of under-18 participants for consent verification, prize administration, and safety communications; process payments and refunds; provide support; meet legal obligations; and, with your consent, send Competition news. You can opt out of marketing at any time; competition-essential communications (such as account, consent, and prize emails) will still be sent.

We disclose personal information only as needed to run the Competition: to our service providers (hosting and database, email delivery, payment processing by Stripe, and analytics/integrity tooling), to driving schools or prize suppliers solely to fulfil prizes, to our professional advisers, and where required by law. Some service providers may process data on servers located overseas; where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure APP-comparable protection. We do not sell personal information.

Leaderboards display your display name, score, and state/territory. We do not publish your full name or contact details. Winner announcements use display name and state unless you (or your parent/guardian, if you are under 18) consent otherwise in writing.

We store data with reputable cloud providers and protect it using encryption in transit, access controls, and secret management. Payment card data is handled by Stripe under PCI-DSS. We retain personal information while your account is active and as required for legal, accounting, and dispute purposes, then delete or de-identify it.

You may request access to or correction of your personal information, or deletion of your account, by emailing hello@playgreenlight.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable period. We may retain records needed for prize integrity, legal, or accounting obligations.

We use essential cookies for login and session integrity, and minimal analytics to understand Platform usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
